| Breaking News |  | Friday, June 1st, 1973: PCL Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Harris
Even though he is a newcomer to BTL Triple A, Vic Harris put up some good numbers in May and brought home the PCL Batter of the Month trophy.
He was one of Peninsula's offensive leaders with a .392 average in 27 games. He also racked up 3 home runs, 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
This season Harris is hitting .355 with 75 hits, 6 home runs, 33 RBIs, scored 37 runs and played in 53 games. |

Not known for his offensive prowess, Mike Cubbage set the league afire in April and took home the Pacific Coast League Batter of the Month award.
The Peninsula third baseman posted a steady .365 batting average, 2 home runs, 30 RBIs and 16 runs.

| Monday, April 23rd, 1973: PCL Player of the Week Chosen
Peninsula's Vic Harris nabbed the latest Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award for his batting prowess this past week.
Posting a hefty .480 average with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored, the 23-year-old is the toast of Peninsula right now.
During the current season Harris is batting at a .350 clip with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 20 games and scored 13 times.
