But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In May the Evansville starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 47 innings, struck out 20 and compiled a solid 0.77 ERA. This season Bomback has compiled a 8-2 record with a 1.45 ERA in 12 starts. Friday, May 25th, 1973: Evansville Blanked by Kravec Tacoma rode the magical arm of Ken Kravec in a 6-0 shutout win over Evansville. He shackled them on 1 hit and fanned 10. Almost to a man, the Evansville Triplets said he had them guessing wrong all game long. In 1973 Kravec has compiled a 7-3 mark with a 2.31 ERA. Wednesday, May 9th, 1973: Eduardo Rodriguez Injured, Out for Season The news is bad in Evansville. The Triplets have lost the services of reliever Eduardo Rodriguez for the rest of the season due to a torn bicep muscle. Rodriguez was injured in a recent game with the Toledo Mud Hens while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4 months. Rodriguez's record up to now is 0-and-0 with no saves and a 1.64 ERA.
