BNN has confirmed that the Dodgers and Claude Osteen have come to terms on a $165,200 package that will keep the starting pitcher in town another 2 years.

Team officials are set to confirm the deal at a mid-morning press conference tomorrow.

Dodgers fans were divided today as Los Angeles confirmed that the front office has signed Jim Brewer to a 1-year extension at a rate of $121,700 per year.

While many were enthusiastically behind the signing, others worried about Brewer's age.
