Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected Kevin Kobel after injuring himself in a game against Baltimore. The Cleveland manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 3 months with a torn bicep muscle." The Indians will have to decide over the next day or two whether the starting pitcher will go on the disabled list. On his 1972 stats sheet Kobel shows a 1-2 record, 6 starts, 38.1 innings, 24 strikeouts and a 3.52 ERA. |
